Provedba Uredbe (EU) 2020/1056 o elektroničkim informacijama o prijevozu tereta (eFTI) temelj je uspostave NSCP-a. Svaka država članica Europske unije dužna je uspostaviti nacionalni sustav kojim nadležnim tijelima osigurava pristup elektroničkim podacima o prijevozu tereta u stvarnom vremenu — bez oslanjanja na papirnate isprave.

Through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NPOO), Croatia provided financial resources for the establishment of the NSCP as a key step towards the digital transformation of road freight transport.

## What is NSCP and what is its purpose NSCP is the National System of Electronic Data Storage and Exchange in Road Transport. The system enables all participants in the freight transport chain — logistics companies, carriers, drivers, shippers, receivers and competent authorities — to exchange relevant information via a secure digital infrastructure. All data that is currently transmitted by paper transport documents will be available in electronic form in real time. ## The role of the eFTI Regulation in the establishment of the NSCP The eFTI Regulation establishes a legal framework that ensures that competent authorities can request priority information exclusively in electronic form, through certified eFTI platforms. NSCP, as a national digital infrastructure, represents the access point through which Croatian competent authorities access data stored on eFTI platforms. The implementation of the NSCP ensures the Republic of Croatia full compliance with European digital standards in road transport.
